Description:

The T50 ISO Tank Container is the international industry standard for the safe transport and reliable storage of liquefied gases under pressure. This specialised model is designed to withstand extreme operating pressures and is certified for a wide range of applications, including LPG (propane, butane), refrigerants (such as R134a, R404a, R410a), anhydrous ammonia, DME and propylene.

The tank is constructed from extremely robust, high-grade carbon steel and mounted within a heavy-duty, ISO-certified 20ft steel frame. As safety is paramount in gas transport, all connections, shut-off valves and safety valves are recessed within a protected steel valve box. Thanks to its standardised 20-foot dimensions, the T50 tank container can be seamlessly integrated into intermodal transport by road, rail and sea.

Advantages:

  • High-Pressure Certified: Specially designed in accordance with UN T50 regulations, with design pressures of up to $34\text{ bar}$ ($3.4\text{ MPa}$).
  • Maximum Safety: Fitted with multiple emergency shut-off valves (remote control shut-off), overpressure safety devices and an insulated valve box.
  • Intermodal Efficiency: Standard 20ft ISO frame ensures efficient transport by ship, train or lorry without the need for transhipment.
  • Optional Sunshield / Insulation: Available with a reflective steel sunshield or thermal insulation to limit temperature fluctuations and pressure build-up.
  • Full Certification: Complies with all international requirements for dangerous goods (ADR, RID, IMDG, UN T50, ASME VI Div. 1 or US DOT 51) and is CSC-certified.
