The 40ft Platform Container with steel floor – also known as the 40ft Steel Floor Flatbed Container – is the most powerful solution for the transport and storage of heavy, rough, or out-of-gauge (OOG) freight. The foundation consists of a heavy-duty CORTEN steel chassis, equipped with a wear-resistant steel chequered plate floor. Unlike wooden floors, a steel floor withstands extreme point loads, corrosive liquids, oils, and heavy mechanical contact, such as sliding heavy moulds, steel beams, or tracked vehicles. The loading deck is equipped with numerous certified lashing rings along the sides for secure and effective anchoring. Thanks to the standardized ISO corner castings, this platform integrates seamlessly into transport by sea vessel, rail, and low-loader trailer.
