Description:

The 45ft Heavy-Duty Roll Trailer is a high-performance, extended transport solution specifically engineered for the movement of extra-long loads, 45ft ISO containers, and high-volume cargo flows within port logistics and heavy industry. With a platform length of approximately 13.70 metres, this vehicle seamlessly meets the growing demand for intermodal transport of oversized containers and long project cargo. Depending on the configuration, the 45ft roll trailer offers a payload capacity ranging from 45 to 100 tonnes.

The chassis is constructed from durable S355/Q345 rolled steel with reinforced main girders, guaranteeing high bending stiffness under heavy loads. The deck can be fitted as required with durable hardwood, pressure-treated pine, a steel checker plate, or as an open skeletal frame for direct container handling. The front end features a reinforced tunnel to enable fast and secure attachment via a gooseneck connected to a terminal tractor. The multi-oscillating running gear with solid rubber tyres ensures even weight distribution and high driving stability across terminals, vessel decks, and industrial sites.

Advantages:

  • Efficient handling without cranes: Enables fast, direct loading of vessels (Ro-Ro transport) and storage yards without requiring quay crane capacity.
  • High payload capacity and robustness: Suitable for extremely heavy loads and high point loads, ranging from 40 tonnes to over 120 tonnes.
  • Even weight distribution: The use of oscillating axles on rocker arms with solid rubber tyres ensures optimal distribution of axle loads, protecting both the vehicle and the deck surface.
  • Fast and safe coupling: The integrated front tunnel enables a direct, secure, and fast connection with the gooseneck of a terminal tractor (tugmaster).
  • Minimal downtime and low maintenance costs: Wear-resistant steel chassis structures and solid rubber tyres eliminate punctures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Cargo flexibility: Suitable for various cargo types, including ISO containers (20ft, 40ft, 45ft), out-of-gauge project cargo, steel structures, and railway equipment.
  • Secure cargo lashing: Fitted as standard with recessed twistlock pockets for containers and heavy-duty D-rings/lashing points along the frame for securing straps.
