Description:
The 62ft Heavy-Duty Roll Trailer is a high-performance transport solution from the heaviest segment, specifically engineered for moving extremely long, voluminous, and heavy industrial loads within port logistics and industrial complexes. With an impressive platform length of approximately 18.90 metres, this vehicle provides exceptional capacity for handling multiple container combinations, out-of-gauge project cargo, long steel structures, and even railway equipment. Depending on the axle and chassis configuration, the 62ft roll trailer withstands extremely high point loads and offers a payload capacity ranging from 80 to well over 120 tonnes.
The frame is constructed from extra-reinforced S355 rolled steel featuring robust IPE 550 main girders and cross members, guaranteeing maximum rigidity and torsional resistance under the most demanding conditions. The deck is fitted as standard with heavy pressure-treated pine or hardwood, but can also be equipped with integrated rail tracks for direct transfer of railway wagons. The front end features a reinforced tunnel structure with wear plates, designed to absorb the high coupling forces exerted by heavy-duty goosenecks on terminal tractors. The multi-axle running gear, fitted with 4 to 6 oscillating axles and solid rubber tyres, ensures excellent weight distribution and high driving stability, both on quaysides and aboard Ro-Ro vessels.
Advantages:
- Maximum payload capacity and length: Suitable for transporting extremely long project cargo and various container combinations (3 x 20ft, 1 x 20ft + 1 x 40ft, or 2 x 30ft).
- Exceptional carrying capacity: Engineered for heavy industrial applications with payloads ranging from 80 to over 120 tonnes.
- Suitable for rail and special transport: Optionally equipped with integrated rail tracks for direct transfer and movement of railway equipment.
- Optimal load distribution: The multi-oscillating axle system (4 to 6 axles on rocker arms) evenly distributes extreme axle loads to protect both the deck and the vehicle.
- Extremely robust coupling: Reinforced gooseneck tunnel designed to withstand very high coupling loads (up to 45+ tonnes) during heavy towing operations.
- High operational availability: Wear-resistant materials and solid rubber tyres eliminate punctures, keeping downtime and maintenance costs to a minimum.
- Comprehensive cargo securing: Equipped with numerous recessed twistlock pockets and up to 32 high-breaking-strength lashing points/D-rings along the frame.
